On Thursday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m., the Eugenio Granell Foundation will open the exhibition De arriba para abajo e de dentro para fóra by artist Iago Fernández Díaz, a project curated by Eduardo Valiña that will be on view until January 17 of next year.
Iago Fernández studied Fine Arts at the University of Vigo and holds a master’s degree in Contemporary Art Creation and Research.
The exhibition offers a journey through some of the most representative works of his production, spanning disciplines such as installations, intervened objects, textiles, collage, and photography.
His project is structured around different devices that stem from the traces we leave as human beings, using external elements to build a narrative about memory and serving as a pretext to sublimate generational issues through self-representation.
