New edition of this sports, cultural, and social event featuring a variety of skateboarding competitions.
The main activity of the day will be a “Street” skateboarding championship. This is the most recognizable and widespread skateboarding discipline, held in urban environments or on courses that replicate everyday street elements such as stairs, ledges, rails, curbs, or benches. The competition will include two categories: Sub15 in the morning and Open in the afternoon.
Beyond the competitive side of the event, “Compostela Skate” aims to promote sports, community engagement, and healthy leisure among young people. The event returned to Santiago last year after a ten-year hiatus, making use of the facilities at Praza da Constitución, which have been specially adapted for skateboarding.
