The San Silvestre is the last athletic event of the year in Santiago de Compostela, a sporting spectacle that will enliven the day from 17:30 hours in the best possible setting: the Praza do Obradoiro.
The race will take place on December 31 starting at 5:30 p.m., with both the start and finish line located at Praza do Obradoiro. Registration will remain open until December 26 through the following link:

Both federated and non-federated athletes may take part in the event, in adult and school categories. Participants born in 2015 or earlier may register, with a registration fee of €4.
Race bibs can be collected at the As Cancelas Shopping Centre on December 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; on December 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and on December 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bibs will not be distributed at the starting area.
New route and prizes
This year, the race premieres a new five-kilometre route through the streets of Compostela, set in a festive and fun atmosphere where participants can run in costume, with their families or in a competitive spirit.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall in both the adult and school categories. Participation prizes will also be given to the three federated clubs, companies, sports centres or gyms, and popular groups with the highest number of participants. In addition, prizes will be awarded for the best individual, group and—new this year—couples’ costumes.
