Surely you know the ducks of the Parque do Lago, but did you know that the Gaiás is home to tits, bats, frogs, redstarts, bumblebees or stag beetles? And that the common kestrel nests every year at the top of the Museum? With the start of spring, at the Cidade da Cultura we are joining in the celebrations for International Forest Day and World Water Day - 21st and 22nd March, respectively - with an interpretative walk through the green spaces of the forest to discover the fauna and flora that live there.

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
