As part of the CIRCUM programme, Alba María and Nacho Muñoz present Aira, an open creative space where oral tradition, improvised speech and sound arts come together in a performative, volatile and humour-driven proposal. Born from a spontaneous foliada blending traditional instruments, electronics and phonetic poetry, the project combines analogue synthesisers, piano, traditional songs, noise and the living word to create an organic, nomadic sonic experience. Aira engages with collective memory and contemporary rhythms, evoking both the fire of celebration and the everyday spaces where culture is worked, sung and passed down from generation to generation.
