Those who want to get married at the end of the Way of St. James, in the cathedral of a Holy City, have a very special setting for their wedding: the Chapel of La Corticela. This old 9th-century oratory dates from before the present-day Cathedral. Modified during previous periods, it was attached to the transept but is still an independent parish, specifically a “parish of pilgrims and foreigners.”
