Tourist Studies Center (CETUR )

CETUR is a center that brings together the necessary interdisciplinary of tourism and the diversity of interests that shift around this activity. It is a center of reference for investigation, formation, information, and tourist counseling.s a multidisciplinary center for investigation. As a part of the many centers of the University of Santiago de Compostela, it features the participation and active support of institutions and non-university organizations that represent the interests of the society.

Inside USC the promoting groups correspond with the fields of Geography, Economy, Business, Philosophy, and Art History. As representatives of the society, others who participate in CETUR include the local governments of Santiago de Compostela and Lugo, as well as Santiago de Compostela's Chamber of Commerce, the Business Association of Hotel Industry and Restaurants in Santiago and its region, and the Provincial Association of Business of the Hotel Industry in Lugo.

The tourist studies in this section were prepared at the request of Turismo de Santiago, by virtue of an agreement signed between both institutions in 2005.
