COSA PIZARRA is a project by Mareike Philipp, a German based in Madrid who has spent fifteen years immersed in the Madrid underground music scene—playing in bands like Monotonus, Rizoma, Chisme or La Familia Atávica, organizing outlandish and fringe concerts with her promoter Altísimo, or spinning records from eclectic materials.
Her collection of shellac records is a box of surprises where lost gems and popular classics of Jazz, Blues, Swing, Calypso, Latin, Exotica, Rhythm‘n‘Blues, Country, Novelty or Crooner coexist, crackling at 78 revolutions.
TT SYNDICATE was formed in 2012 in Porto, Portugal. They later made a splash at the High Rockabilly in Calafell, the Purple Weekend in León, and the Outono Códax Festival in Santiago de Compostela.
