Trío Zukan —txistu, microtonal accordion and percussion— brings to the Contemporáneas series one of its most personal projects.
URa (water, in Basque) gathers works by Abel Paúl, Bertrand Chavarría-Aldrete, Juan José Eslava and Zuriñe F. Gerenabarrena, reflecting on the use, abuse and beauty of water as both a resource and a symbol.
The concert blends acoustic and electronic sounds, voices, stones and natural elements, transforming the stage into a moving landscape. The pieces create a sonic flow that expands and dissolves, like a river advancing with no return, between strength and fragility.
