Carnival is one of the most popular celebrations in Galicia. In this edition of the workshop we will approach some of its most traditional variants. We will explore what is probably the most elegant, the Carnival of Cobres, and we will develop our most creative side by recreating one of the unique elements of its costumes: the hats.

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
