The exhibition ‘Miradas. Mulleres na arte' by Elsa Martínez seeks to pay tribute to the female representatives who stood out in the world of art and also to those who remained anonymous. 

The exhibition brings together 41 portraits of women from different artistic disciplines (painters, sculptors, writers and actresses) from the 16th to the 20th century, using different techniques: acrylic, collage, pencil, watercolour and plasticine used in a personal way as a pictorial technique. 

M.ª Louise Élisabeth Vigée Lebrun, Sofonisba Anguissola, Camille Claudel, Daphne du Maurier, Leonora Carrington, Gerda Wegener, Frida Kahlo, Pier Angeli, Virginia Woolf, Maruja Mallo are some of the artists featured in this exhibition.
