The exhibition Mar de San Simón brings together a selection of paintings by Berta Cáccamo (Vigo, 1963–2018), mainly created between the late 1980s and early 1990s. The show revisits a key moment in her career, when she moved from a more gestural style of painting towards a refined language focused on architecture and composition. It includes significant works such as Triple percorrido (1989) and the polyptych Descrición do día (1988–1990), along with works on paper and paintings produced during her time in Paris. The exhibition reflects on the lasting significance of her work and the need to revisit the past in order to think about the present.
