Horizontes Errantes (Wandering Horizons) is an artistic pilgrimage between Germany and Spain, a project of art in motion in which Laura Arís and Jakob Jautz transform the experience of walking into a theatrical creation of contemporary dance, music and physical theatre.
A multifaceted performance that will be presented to the public on 27 September in the Convention Hall of the CINC Building, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
For 15 days, Laura Arís and Jakob Jautz walked the paths between Tübingen and Freiburg (crossing the Black Forest in Germany) and between Villanueva de Santo Adriano and Santiago de Compostela (following the Primitive Way), collecting stories, sounds, landscapes and meaningful encounters.
The path—with its human and non-human voices—becomes body, movement and narrative. The proposal invites us to inhabit the world through slowness, listening and transformation. Walking as a poetic act of critical and sensitive resistance, which—despite the dystopian reality—evokes feelings of hope and connection.
