On Saturday, June 7, Holi Gaiás and Peque Holi return to fill the Cidade da Cultura with color and give spring the farewell it deserves with a fun, sporty event for all audiences. The seventh edition of this festive race is already underway, offering a joyful June Saturday for families and friends to enjoy, covering themselves in the traditional colored powder along the course and during the grand finale.

The event is designed as a healthy, enjoyable way to do sport in a unique and vibrant setting like Monte Gaiás.

Sponsored by Viaqua and with the collaboration of the Galician Athletics Federation, Gadis, and Coca-Cola, Holi Gaiás brings its festive, non-competitive spirit to the Cidade da Cultura — where the goal is not to win but to celebrate the final weeks of spring with an explosion of music and color, inspired by India’s Holi festival. This year, for the first time, one euro from each registration will be donated to the Andrea Foundation, which supports children with chronic, long-term, or terminal illnesses. Those not taking part in the race can still support the cause by purchasing a Dorsal 0, with all proceeds going to the foundation.
