Helena Egea debuted at the Festival da Luz 2023 with her musical project Flares of Life, characterized by the strength and passion of her voice. With a repertoire in English and Galician inspired by genres such as jazz, soul, blues, pop and rock, the violinist and singer uses her compositions as a means of expression and self-discovery, evoking the power of iconic artists such as Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and Janis Joplin.
For their part, Cora Velasco and Carlos Gil met in 2018 during the recording of Sortilegios, Cora's first album, which they presented on Disco Grande with Julio Ruiz in 2019. Since then, they accumulated outstanding performances at festivals such as Son do Camiño, PortAmérica and Festival da Luz, also opening for artists such as Luz Casal and Iván Ferreiro.
