Exhibition by the multifaceted Portuguese artist Francisca Aires Mateus.
In this show, Aires reflects on the concept of translation: a process that enables understanding while altering the original meaning of the message.
The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Appleton – Associação Cultural.
At 12:30 p.m. on May 24, and as part of the program of the 6th edition of Plataforma, Festival of Performing Arts, the performance LN Performance will take place, featuring the artist herself.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
