Puss in Boots or Master Cat is a European folk tale published in 1695 by Charles Perrault. It tells the story of a cat who, thanks to his cunning, manages to win the fortune and the hand of a princess for his poor master. Since its publication in 1697 in his book Cuentos de antaño, which he dedicated and gave as a gift to the niece of Louis XIV, it has been very successful.
Per Poc recreates the characters and the scenography with the drawings of the Russian artist Alexandra Semenova, whose aesthetics take us back to the time of the Sun King. The music proposed for this show is the French musical repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries, which will also play a leading role.
