We will begin the workshop with an explanation, based on a selection of plants that help regenerate the air and maintain humidity – such as succulents, ferns and low-maintenance plants – of how they contribute to the sustainability of the microecosystem.
Next, we will assemble the ecosystem in the ecocapsule and plant the species inside. We will include other natural elements that contribute to the stability of the ecosystem, such as rocks to conserve humidity and water containers.
Finally, we will carry out tests, observations and final adjustments with an example of light and temperature automation using electronics.
Aimed at children aged 8 to 13. There are 15 places available. Those interested can collect their ticket from the library information desk 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
