E agora para onde vou?
Curated by Iñaki Martínez Antelo, the exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Appleton Associação Cultural de Lisboa and the DIDAC Foundation and forms part of the activities of the Plataforma. Festival de Artes Performativas de Santiago de Compostela.
The artistic production of Vasco Araújo (Lisbon, 1975) is characterised by the multiplicity of languages and media he uses to formalise his ideas.
The central piece in this exhibition is the work entitled ¿E agora para onde vou?, from 2020, in which the artist shows us sixteen books of watercolours representing the sixteen cardinal points of the compass rose, which is used in navigation.

Festivals
The neighbourhood of Vistalegre celebrates its traditional festival of San Xoán from June 21st to 23rd.
June 23rd, the summer solstice, is the magical eve of “San Juan” (St. John’s Day), an ancient fiesta that is present in all cultures, marking the beginning of the summer, the time of greatest sunlight, the longest day in the year.
The members of the Cultural Association Cidade Vella have prepared various activities in several squares of Compostela’s Old Town to celebrate the most magical night of the year. There will be music, sardiñadas (grilled sardines), snacks, quitameigallos (ritual bonfires), dance groups, foliadas (traditional music gatherings), DJs and, above all, lots of partying.
Five days of music, dance, theatre, big-heads, reading, storytelling, science and much more in one of Santiago's most unique neighbourhoods.
