On Thursday, 5 February 2026, Casa RIA opens the first monographic exhibition dedicated to the work of David Chipperfield Design. Under the title “Design for Living”, the exhibition transforms the building into a space for reflecting on design as an act of care, rooted in materiality, territory and everyday life.

For four months, the first two floors of Casa RIA will showcase more than 50 objects, along with prototypes, references and sketches that offer a comprehensive insight into the studio’s creative process, always grounded in the materials provided by the surrounding territory.

The exhibition is accompanied by a public programme featuring professionals from disciplines such as graphic design, industrial design, fashion and editorial design. Through a series of talks, seminars and lectures, the programme will explore creative processes, visual identity and the role of design in daily life in Galicia.
