Oral storytelling, music, objects and new technologies to exalt the heritage of all the women honoured on the Día das Letras Galegas throughout time.
The Biblioteca de Galicia hosts the workshop Desde Rosalía hasta las Cantareiras, a multidisciplinary proposal aimed at children between 5 and 12 years old to exalt the heritage of all the women honoured on the Día das Letras Galegas, from Rosalía de Castro to the Cantareiras, with special emphasis on the latter and the Cancionero Popular.
This proposal by A Xanela do Maxín highlights the women who left an indelible mark on Galician literature, music and theatre, and who stood out for their creativity, commitment and contribution to our culture, with the aim of bringing their stories to the youngest children.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
