Dano Cerebral Galicia presents the photographic exhibition “Contemos multitudes” on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gaiás Museum, Cidade da Cultura, Santiago de Compostela. Subtitled “Acquired brain injury, where lost things are made right again”, the exhibition features images by Fuco Reyes of participants in the Artistic and Creative Laboratory, an initiative offering photography training to people with acquired brain injury, promoting self-expression, meaningful leisure, and personal development.
Organized by the Galician Brain Injury Association (Dano Cerebral Galicia) and curated by Fuco Reyes and Carla Miranda, with graphic design by Xaime Fandiño and production by Axeitos&Co, the exhibition includes two sections: portraits taken by the instructor with accompanying handwritten testimonies from the participants, and 37 photographic works created during the Laboratory sessions, focusing on biographical storytelling and reflection on the consequences of brain injury.
The inauguration will include institutional representation, speeches by Fuco Reyes and one of the participants, and a guided tour for all attendees. The exhibition will be open until December 8 during the Gaiás Museum’s regular hours.
