The Dupla gallery presents Common people until mid-August, featuring artists Natalia Umpiérrez (Pontevedra, 1982) and Nuria Figueiredo (Ourense, 1986), who offer two complementary views of reality: Umpiérrez uses humor, irreverence, and the grotesque in her ceramic and paper works exploring fears and desires, while Figueiredo creates a dreamlike, mystical universe through ceramics that blend human and animal forms into delicate ex-votos and altarpieces. Both artists, recognized with awards such as the Novos Valores Prize from the Diputación de Pontevedra and participants in significant biennials and international circuits, come together in this exhibition that invites viewers to navigate between irony and reverie. Common people can be visited during summer hours (Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm; Saturdays by appointment at info@galeriadupla.art).
