An 8-year-old boy—adventurous, mischievous, and full of imagination—playing along the docks of Rianxo, drawing Carnival masks, and listening to tales of the Santa Compaña from the bell tower. This play brings us closer to that little Daniel, who is about to leave for Argentina… but before that, he vanishes!

The Biblioteca de Galicia hosts this theatrical production as part of the Castelao Year: a vibrant, humorous show directed by Fina Calleja and starring Mónica Caamaño and Cris Collazo. A piece created for children that invites them to take part in a magical, memory-filled story.

The dramatic tension builds with the ticking clock: Castelao must be found before the ship departs. His travel companion is Baltasara, a mysterious figure who lives everywhere and nowhere, and who guides us through a magical journey across the most legendary corners of the town. Through games, words, and drawings, young Castelao must overcome the challenges awaiting him before crossing the ocean.
