A Breviary is a summary of an extensive work. It can also be understood as a memory book or a notebook. On this occasion, Tamara Feijoo’s Breviary is a small collection of pieces that function as samples and pictorial experiments. These are selected spaces of reflection on painting itself, studio essays, recurrences and discards that shape a personal imagery working as a synthesis of her entire career.
The exhibition is curated by Mónica Maneiro, artistic director of the DIDAC Foundation.
Tamara Feijoo holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo. She has been recognized in almost every competition dedicated to the promotion of art in Galicia: the Novos Valores Award Grant from the Pontevedra Provincial Council, the Acquisition Prize at the Isaac Díaz Pardo Visual Arts Competition, the Gas Natural Fenosa Artistic Creation Abroad Grant, and the Julián Trincado Prize at the 12th International Art Exhibition Gas Natural Fenosa.
Her work is included in major collections such as the CGAC Collection and the DKV Collection, among others.
