Baile de entroido no monte Esmeralda | Entroido no Gaiás 2025
This year for the Entroido no Gaiás ball we travel to Mount Esmeralda and to the iconography of a literary saga that fascinates children of all generations: the wonderful world of Oz.
An afternoon for the whole family to which cowardly lions, perfidious witches, wise scarecrows, flying monkeys and even the most lying wizards of the place are invited. Put on your best shoes (be they red or silver) and join us on a journey along the yellow brick road and a great afternoon of celebration!
We'll be accompanied by Nogueiras music and our traditional costume parade and competition: rack your brains to amaze the jury with the originality of your costume... and if it fits in with the theme... and if it fits in with the theme of the dance, even better!

Festivals
The Festa do Banquete de Conxo will count on the tourist train, which will be available to citizens and visitors for free transfers between the Alameda, in the city centre, and the neighbourhood of Conxo.
The 2025 Ascensión Festivities will fill Compostela with music, activities, and tradition during the last week of May. This celebration, one of the most beloved by the people of Santiago, returns with open-air concerts, children’s shows, traditional markets, fairground rides in the Alameda, and exhibitions of Galician folk culture.
