In addition to various craft stalls, “Artesanamente” includes a very ambitious parallel program, whose main attraction will be the lecture by designer Lorenzo Caprile on Friday afternoon at the Galician Center of Contemporary Art.

Besides this lecture, other events are planned, such as Octavio Vázquez from Pau de Pedra, who will speak about traditional stonemasonry and new technologies; or Elena Ferro and Álvaro Pin on “Os zocos dignificados.” There will also be presentations like Prímula or the Galician Food Craftsmanship seal.

The program also includes demonstrations of various crafts, with artisans working live on Rúa do Vilar. Participants include the stonemasons from CIFP de Cantería de Galicia, the net makers from Asociación Redeiras Illa da Estrela de Corme, and the clog maker Álvaro Pin. Finally, on Sunday there will be a small parade through the streets of Santiago organized by the Asociación do Traxe Galego.
