In the exhibition by the photographer Isabel Muñoz, consisting of large light boxes, large-format photographs, prints with precious metals or earth from the Turkish deposits, the artist x-rayed, through her lens, the most basic aspects of human beings: their movements, the rites they performed, the meaning of symbols, the importance of the moon and water in Karahan. Some of the works are emulsified in silver and gold.
All the photographs are taken at night, ‘with the same lighting they used, with those torches that reveal many of the things and many of the enigmas they wanted to leave us’.
