A sonic journey between the medieval and the contemporary. After the success of Ben vennas Maio, Pablo Sanmamed returns with A Estrela Mostrada, a new project to be released in May 2026, once again illuminating the dialogue between early music and contemporary jazz. Inspired by the cantigas of the Galician-Portuguese lyric tradition and other medieval traditions —Occitan, Arab-Andalusian— Sanmamed offers a work with contemporary and deeply emotional soundscapes, where the past resonates as living matter in the present.
