The Foxás-Grixó recreational area is located in the parish of Foxás, in the village of A Obra (hamlet of Grixó). It is situated near the River Ulla, specifically on the right-hand bank, in a setting that stands out due to its varied vegetation, including characteristic riverside species such as the carballo (oak), which is interspersed with other species that are not so characteristic.

The area is equipped with benches, tables, barbecues, litterbins and an old restored waterwheel. It is ideal as a recreational and fishing area.

It is easily accessed by car or on foot. It features good accessibility infrastructure and installations. It is relatively close to the village of Fonte Díaz and the “A Praza do Luar” camper service area.
