The Cubelas Recreational Area is located at the foot of the River Ulla, about 300 metres from Ximonde Preserve. It is the start and finish point of the San Xoán da Cova trekking route.

This area is equipped with tables and benches. It also features a small botanical garden with riverside flora species found in the Ulla-Deza River System, wich is part of the Natura 2000 Network.
