Ximonde is one of the most important salmon preserves in Galicia. The fishermen’s shelter houses a small River Ulla interpretation centre and a fish-breeding and –reproduction station.

The Recreational Area stands out above all to its fishing posts, waterfall and especially its hanging bridge. It is an ideal place for walking and enjoying nature.
