Airas Nunes

In an ancient house built in the XVIII over the ruins of a Renaissance building, Guest House Airas Nunes takes its name from a Compostelan troubadour from XIII century, author of unforgettable poems about love and mocking. In the thousand-years-old heart of Santiago de Compostela, has an exceptional location: the intimate Burgo Miluorum, the ancient city from which, in the IX century, started the urban development of the city in commemoration of the grave of the Apostle. This street is knows from the Middle Ages with the name of Rúa do Vilar.

Seventy steps away from the point in which all the Saint Jacob´s ways converge, the guest house has magnificent views over the towers, the roof and galleries of the Cathedral, and over the chimneys of the palaces, in an environment that invites to a romantic walk in the stone forest of slabs and arcades. These same streets were walked time ago by distinguished Galicians like Rosalía de Castro or Valle Inclán. And if you pay attention you can hear, mixed with the sounds of the Berenguela tower bell, the echo of the steps of the thousands of pilgrims that, moved by their faith, have come to Santiago de Compostela along the centuries.

Its 10 rooms are comfortable, pleasant and charming by its original features such as wooden beams and stone structure. Decorated all kind antique furnishings and fully equipped with exclusive bathroom, TV, radio, wifi, telephone, desk, safe, minibar, air conditioning and heating.
