Do not be fooled by pseudo-traditions or inappropriate practices.

Purchase handcrafted products in local shops and participate in our intense cultural life.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
Deposit rubbish in litter and rubbish bins. Use the free public toilets. Save water and electricity. 

6. ACOUSTIC QUALITY
Celebrate your arrival respectfully, not making too much noise. Store your walking stick to prevent noise pollution and damage to the pavement.

7. VISUAL QUALITY
The cityscape surrounding you is of exceptional value: it is not a picnic area or a campsite. Discover Santiago as a gastronomy capital in our magnificent restaurants.

8. PEDESTRIAN PRIORITY
If you come by bike, respect pedestrian areas where you must get off your bike and go on foot. Walk the last metres calmly and sensibly.

9. SAFETY
Large groups are not exempt from observing traffic regulations.

10. RIGHT TO REST
Santiago features plenty of leisure options: enjoy yourself while respecting those that are resting.
