VII Galicia Magic Fest
Magic always comes back for Christmas thanks to the international illusionism festival Galicia Magic Fest, which this year will reach its seventh edition. Magicians with international awards and worldwide prestige from different countries will gather in the most important theatres in Galicia to amaze the Galician public for 90 minutes with their important magic and illusionism effects. A proposal for family audiences that already has a great tradition for its magical attraction in these important dates.

From Friday 29 November to Sunday 5 January you can enjoy the impressive nativity scene donated and assembled by the nativity scene maker José Uzal: more than 500 figures make up this nativity scene which includes different scenes, moving pieces and also special lighting and sound effects.

The “Xenerais da Ulla” is the most outstanding feature of the Ulla region’s traditional Carnival. It has been held in the surroundings of Santiago since the first half of the 19th century: the “Xenerais” (generals) ride on horseback, dressed in colourful military garments similar to those of that time, but they also include purely carnivalesque adornments, which the horses also wear.
