António Faria's drawing is born of an archaic need to connect with nature. In a state of permanent invention, his gesture is guided by memory rooted in the crystallographic axis of time, where the past merges with the present and everything can be recreated indefinitely on the plane of the image. In this drawing practice, the model is only a pretext for the adventure without a plan price that begins with each new work. In the process of drawing, the whole appears as an authentic fiction, in which the artist discovers his true nature, the infinite wandering.
