From the numerous documentation provided by artists and collectors from all over Galicia, a personal xeanoloxia of urban art is constructed from a feminist revision of the movement, in the search to deconstruct the widespread idea of the supposed absence of women who paint in the street. A history of art parallel to the institutional one that brings together the work of different generations of female creators combating gender stereotypes with historical facts such as the fact that the first graffiti made in Galicia was the work of a woman Seor, in 1984.
Since then, the evolution of styles, formats and disciplines has not stopped growing, and many of these artists have managed to turn their experimentation into a profession within a marginal movement in the art system - illegal on many occasions - where the possibilities are mixed with the obstacles and difficulties involved in being a woman creator in the public space.
