A church inside another church

The oldest chapel you will find is called Santa María de la Corticela. It is 1,100 years old. It even existed before the Cathedral! It was a small chapel, where the monks that looked after the apostle’s tomb prayed. It was altered many times and eventually joined to the Cathedral by a passage. And it is still an independent parish! How strange! Also, at its entrance you will find the portrait of some old friends of yours… Or don’t you recognise the Three Wise Men?
