Have you ever embraced one of Jesus’ apostles? Well, you can if you are a good pilgrim in the Cathedral of Santiago. On the high altar there awaits a very old statue of the apostle (800 years old!), which you can give a large hug to express your joy at being in the Cathedral. It is a very exciting moment and you will also enjoy a magnificent view of the main nave.
