Staircase to the University Campus

Although there was a previous connexion, it is part of the latest structural alterations of the 'Ferradura' walk, in order to link the areas of parks and gardens with the new project of the University Campus, at the west side of the city. It is composed by four levels which are linked by double stairs. The highest part forms a viewpoint which finishes in double columns. On the second level there is a fountain fitted in the group. The first plan was by Constantino Candeira Pérez (1929), and it was reformed by the architect José María Banet (beginning of 1940s).
