- The Auditorium was opened in 1989 in order to consolidate the Galician capital’s
cultural programme. As part of the National Programme of Auditoriums, it
facilitates the reception of cultural expressions generated by the city.
The Auditorium of Galicia was designed by Julio Cano Lasso; it is set in a large,
green watercourse and is made up of the following:
- Ángel Brage Hall: capacity of 1,000 spectators, equipped for simultaneous
translation, with a stage and orchestra pit
- W. A. Mozart Hall: capacity of 320 people
- Circular Room: split-level with capacity of 100 people
- Isaac Díaz Pardo Exhibition Hall: area of 1.000 m2
- Rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6: different capacities, for working parties or as press
rooms
- Other services: cafeteria and restaurant, large car park and recreational areas
