Galeras Park. Viewpoint of Monte Pío.
In Galeras Park, only 10 minutes from Obradoiro square, is Monte Pío. Its summit is crowned by the Galician president´s residence. This is undoubtedly the best place for our president to live, since he awakens each morning to a monumental, unequivocal and global vision of the capital of the region over which he has to govern. Thanks to a very democratic, English-like conception of urban planning, the official residence is surrounded by a public park from which we can admire the view without having to ring the doorbell.
