A local market that is held from 9 am to 3 pm on the 5th every month in the village of Fonte Díaz. Visitors will find a wide range of agricultural and food products, as well as stalls with a variety of clothes and footwear.
The market’s most traditional element is the tasting of octopus, which attracts a lot of people from the municipality, region and surroundings between 11 am and 3 pm. On certain dates, the market is centred on festivities such as the Carnival Festival, the Emigrant Festival and the Chestnut Festival, among other ones.
