Casa Lucas
Casa Lucas is located in the heart of Galicia. It is only 8km from Arzúa, a village on the camino, the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela. The house is an old farm that has been carefully and meticulously restored and which is now a beautiful country hotel.
Built in the1780s, the house is surrounded by nature. It is located less than 150 metres from Portodemouros reservoir and offers spectacular views in a quiet and peacefull environment.
The house offers three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, television and central heating. There are also two apartments with equiped kitchens. The apartments can house two or four people. In addition, there are extra beds available as well as a cot. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to piligrims to and from Arzúa.
Casa Lucas also boasts a cozy dining room where guests can enjoy delicious traditional homemade food next to a fireplace. This is the area where the older elements of the builidng are located, these are a stone oven and sink. For those guests who prefer to enjoy the views, there is a gallery with a confortable sofa for reading or just taking a cup of coffee. The house is surrounded by gardens where you can find sunbeds or tables. There is also free parking.
In the nearby area, our guests can enjoy a beautiful hiking route that starts in As Hortas waterfalls and ends in Arzúa. It passes right next to Casa Lucas. Guests can also
rent a kayak to paddle in the reservoir. At less than 4km from the house, you can learn about the traditional world of beekeeping in the Museo do Mel (honey museum). There are also other activities to be enjoyed in Sobrado dos Monxes Monastery or the House of Cheese among other destinations a short drive away from the hotel.

How to get there
To arrive from Santiago, you must come from N-547 Arzúa-Lugo. In Arzúa, next to the main square, you must turn right by AC-905 leadership Vila de Cruces. In Brandeso, 6km far to Arzúa, you must turn left by Viñós.
