Santiago has a wide and diverse gastronomic offer based on the best Galician products and combining traditional and nouvelle cuisine. Santiago (é)Tapas, the city's tapas competition, is the perfect opportunity to discover the quality of the city's gastronomy, as it allows you to discover in small doses the range of possibilities that Compostela offers to lovers of good food.
2 to 20 September: Registration period for catering establishments interested in participating. Both the competition rules and the registration form will be available on the website santiagoetapas.gal. The competition is open to all catering establishments located in the municipality of Santiago de Compostela that wish to take part, provided that they hold the appropriate licences.
27 October to 13 November: The competition will be held and the awards ceremony will take place at the end of the same month. On the same dates as the 14th Santiago(é)Tapas, the third edition of the Santiago(é)Cóctel, a cocktail competition organised by the Asociación Hostelería Compostela, will be held. Toleamos por (é)Tapas' is the slogan of this edition, which starts a few days earlier than in previous years in order to avoid coinciding with Christmas dinners in the city's catering establishments.
