Xacobeo de Ximnasia Rítmica 2024
The Multiusos Fontes do Sar will once again bring together hundreds of athletes to participate in the Xacobeo Rhythmic Gymnastics III International Tournament VIRAVOLTA-JAEL and IV International Rhythmic Gymnastics Gala, organised by the Viravolta club.
Top-level gymnasts from all over Europe, among them the Olympic champion in Paris 2024 (and several of the top-ten ranked in the Games) and members of the Spanish National Team, will participate in the International Gala, hosted by the Spanish Olympian Carolina Rodríguez.
Numerous Galician companies and organisations are selflessly collaborating in the organisation of the Tournament. This edition will once again have a solidarity aspect: part of the proceeds will be used to finance support programmes for children with cancer and their families through ASANOG (Asociación de Axuda a Nenos Oncolóxicos de Galicia).

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
