Verán no Gaiás-Karpaty | La Troupe Malabó
Based on visual poetry, Karpaty is transformed into a show full of humour and hope. A prestigious Russian circus sets out on a journey fleeing from war in order to fulfil its dream: to show its art to the public once again.
Through circus techniques, clown games and live music, the Valencian company La Troupe Malabó talks about migration and the search for a place of one's own, about ageing and madness, but also about fantasy and the power of laughter. Unpredictable characters, full of love for life and the circus, will accompany us on this journey full of twists, surprises and magic. A whole tray of possibilities for the audience to serve what they most need in a show that has been selected for the Ciudad Rodrigo Theatre Fair 2021.

Festivals
The neighbourhood of Vistalegre celebrates its traditional festival of San Xoán from June 21st to 23rd.
June 23rd, the summer solstice, is the magical eve of “San Juan” (St. John’s Day), an ancient fiesta that is present in all cultures, marking the beginning of the summer, the time of greatest sunlight, the longest day in the year.
The members of the Cultural Association Cidade Vella have prepared various activities in several squares of Compostela’s Old Town to celebrate the most magical night of the year. There will be music, sardiñadas (grilled sardines), snacks, quitameigallos (ritual bonfires), dance groups, foliadas (traditional music gatherings), DJs and, above all, lots of partying.
Five days of music, dance, theatre, big-heads, reading, storytelling, science and much more in one of Santiago's most unique neighbourhoods.
