From Tuesday 1 February, the University Church will host the exhibition Soledad Penalta. Palabras Orfas, curated by Juan M. Monterroso.  In an anthological exhibition of 17 works, in which she combines stainless steel with Corten steel, the sculptor from Noia offers us an intense reflection on the human condition, on the tensions created between the individual and society.

From an abstract language, combined with figurative and conceptual references, his characteristic anthropomorphic profiles emerge and overflow each of his works. In them, the words, taken from authors such as Omar Khayyam or Jorge Oteiza, create delicate calligraphic games in which desires, worries, hopes and fears are expressed.
