Shannon & The Clams + Mambas Negras is one of the highlights of Outono Codax Festival 2024.
Garage rock, sixties soul, doo wop and early psychedelia are the pillars on which the Californian band Shannon & The Clams have based their sound over the last 15 years. Accompanying bands such as The Black Keys and Greta Van Fleet, they are coming to Santiago to close their European tour presenting their seventh album, The Moon Is In the Wrong Place, released in 2024, after the death of Shannon Shaw's fiancé, Joe Haener, in a car accident, just a few weeks before their wedding.

Festivals
The festivities dedicated to the Apostle, the patron saint of Santiago, of Galicia and of all of Spain, last for about a fortnight. This festival combines religious and official solemnity, tradition and entertainment, which turn the entire city into a large fiesta.
July 24th and 25th are the two main days. On the night of July 24th there is an impressive firework display in honour of the Apostle, visible from different points in the city.
