The film festival that the little ones have been waiting for for a year returns to Gaiás. Pequefilmes returns in January 2021 with two weekends of screenings that will surprise and excite an audience that is small in size but big in demands. During the 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st of January 2020, the Centro Gaiás Museum will offer an exciting and wide selection of the best current international productions for all audiences, many of which have been selected and awarded prizes at the most important children's, youth and animation film festivals in the world (such as Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Chicago ICFF, Animamundi, Animafest or Dresdner Kinderfilfest).
The programme of this fifth edition of Pequefilmes will bring together the most outstanding of the current international production dedicated to children's audiences, consolidating itself as an opportunity for young people to see high quality audiovisual pieces that, on many occasions, are out of their reach as they are not found in the more conventional exhibition circuits.
There will be a total of eight sessions, over four days, in which short films will be screened on a variety of themes, points of view and stories, focusing on numerous social and ethical aspects without ever losing sight of the fun, and adapted to the different interests and tastes of the youngest members of the household. Stay tuned, we will publish the programme very soon.
